Help us count!
Kids love to count and they need the practice. Next week I am going to start sending home a jar. I call it the estimation jar. Every Monday or Tuesday it will be sent home with someone and your job is to put a handful of the same item in the jar and send it back to school the next time we are together. Our job is to guess how many items are in the jar and then count them. You can be as creative as you want in what you put in the jar. The items can be edible, but may not contain nuts. Also, please put no less than 12 items, but no more than 100. I will send home a schedule with dates so you can anticipate when you will be getting the jar at your house.

Well, it is next week and I didn't send home a list of who is taking home our jar. With the field trip, I got a bit distracted. We will start Monday the 25th. Just a heads up, we are going in alphabetical order. So, Ben will be first with 4's and Ashton will be first with 3's.
